GJH Construction Sdn Bhd (“GJH”) was initially incorporated in 14th April 1993 as a private limited company under the name of Yeow Tuah & Sons Sdn Bhd, which focuses on construction works. On 7th September 1996, Yeow Tuah & Sons Sdn Bhd underwent a name change and came to be known by its present name.

Between the year 1996 to 1999, GJH earned itself a reputation for its quality construction work. With wide-ranging experience over various segments of commercial buildings and infrastructure works, including residential landed properties, community buildings, walk-ups and high-rise apartments, GJH cemented itself as a reputable and reliable contractor.

By virtue of its accomplishments and strength as a main contractor in the construction industry, GJH eventually ventured into the real estate business in 2001, and became a full-fledged property developer. Not only did GJH produce quality and affordable dream homes, they also pioneered various premium homes and offices featuring unique, versatile and environmentally sustainable designs.

The outstanding quality of its work eventually led GJH to be certified as a G7 contractor on 30th June 2003 by the Commercial Industrial Development Board (“CIDB”). As a G7 contractor, GJH was given the mandate to undertake any construction work without limit to the construction outlay, thus paving the way for GJH’s participation in mega construction projects. Such was the remarkable journey of GJH that it came to nobody’s surprise when the company was further awarded the prestigious ISO 9001-2008 certification on 15th September 2006 by BM Trada (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

Despite the multitude of challenges faced in a localized construction industry in a small state in West Malaysia, GJH had pushed boundaries and exceeded expectations by setting up a branch office in Kuching, Sarawak. The expansion into East Malaysia proved to be a gamechanger when GJH Kuching branch alone contributed to over RM104 million worth of project value to the company’s latest turnover. To date, GJH had successfully completed projects worth RM2.8 billion for its many satisfied clients.

The company’s latest project, Taman Anjung Gapam which is located at Bemban, Jasin and just a stone’s throw away from Ayer Keroh is set to be yet another major hit with its European-inspired bungalows surrounded by lush green scenery and overlooking a beautiful lake.

GJH owed its success to a dedicated management team which flourished under the visionary leadership of its co-founder and managing director, Mr Yeow Ho Lock. Together, GJH proved to be a premier property developer, often serving as the forerunner and setting the benchmark for building cost-efficient homes with value-added features.
